Mersey Weigh are members of the UK Weighing Federation (Member 1157). This ensures that our work meets the standards as laid down by the UK Weighing Federation for the UK weighing trade.
Mersey Weigh work to quality management system is: BSI ISO 9001:2015 (certificate FS 583871). Therefore, our system of working and documentation meets our customers quality management traceability requirements.

Mersey Weigh specialises in calibrating all weighing equipment and provides certification for our customers’ quality management systems.
Calibration and service schedule can be defined by the customers requirements with site visits on an annual or biennial basis
Mersey Weigh have an in-depth knowledge of weighing machinery and have extensive access to spare parts from most major manufacturers.
If we are required to attend a repair, we will assess the damage/fault and advise with our customer representative what costs will be involved in the process.
if a repair cannot be carried out on premises, we will, where possible, leave a suitable loan scale for your use while the repair is carried out.
Mersey Weigh provide a non-inclusive contract service to maintain and calibrate all types of weighing equipment.
Generally, service is carried out on a six or twelve-monthly basis. The specific interval is flexible and can be changed to meet customer requirements.

On occasion, customers require bespoke, or specialist equipment within a specific field. Mersey Weigh can detail the requirements and design a package of suitable equipment to meet the specified scope. Further to this, Mersey Weigh work closely with UK weighing machine fabricators. Who can fabricate high quality weighing platforms from mild or stainless steel to suite customer requirements
Mersey Weigh work closely with local NHS Trusts, maintaining contracts for service and calibration of all medical weighing equipment within hospitals, clinics and the outlying community. Further to this, we visit private nursing homes and establishments to carry out calibration or repairs of weighing equipment.
